I’ve Been Away Too Long!

This was the view of  orange trees from my shady

terrace in Panama last winter – my current view is

much colder – I have moved to a small town in Prince

Edward Island and my view is across a bay  on

the Gulf of St.Lawrence.

My move was not without excitement – among medical

emergencies and house renovations my old computer

crashed and I lost my complete stored inventory list

at the worst of times. I have just now gotten the list reworked so I now am ready

to do business again.

I am still at my old email address:

janet@novascotaquilts.com and still offer the largest inventory of vintage quilt kits in North America –  check my archives, stay tuned for bew postingsa coming soon and contact me for specific info about your wishist

I’m here again and ready to do business again!

Stay Warm! from Janet

Hi I am an old customer of yours. You helped me out with threads and colors on a quilt I had found that was unfinished 6 years ago. I have since found 3 quilts and finished the last for my son’s wedding in 2013. I am curious what you might know about the Tobin quilt kits. I haven’t seen them before, or noticed them anyway. Are they considered heirloom? I noticed you don’t have any listed.
I am sorry about your health problems and lost inventory struggles. I hope the move was to a better situation. Prince Edward Island sounds lovely.
I am still in Colorado. Taking a little break from the threads, but always looking out for a new project.
    God bless

hi! I am writing on behalf of a member of my quilting group. She is looking for a wholecloth quilt kit, Queen-size and white. Do you still sell those? and if so, how does one go about it? thanks

  • janet:

Hi Jocelyne: thanks for the inquiry regarding wholecloth quilt kits on behalf of your friend.
I have an excellent inventory of these exquisite kits at the moment. They range in size from small decorative pillow size, through wallhangiing and infant and toddler size and on up to queen /king. I also have two circular xmas tree floor mats or tablecovers and a lovely throw size for the foot of you bed or your chaise-longue. Simply contact me by email, or look through my articles in the search option on my front page specifying “wholecloth” there are several interesting articles and a complete listing as well. I accept Paypal payment or a cheque and will ask as low a postage rate as I can manage – I know postal rates are gone out of this world. Since you are a fellow Canadian, you should expect to receive your kit within a week of my receiving payment.
Thanks for your interest! And please contact me if you need further help.
    Janet
