My quilt studio is in my 1820's heritage home, surrounded by trees and wild gardens. Enjoy the peace and serenity which inspires my work. Visit the nearby fishing village of Hall's Harbour where you can observe the action of the world's highest tides. Visit artists' studios, hunt for antiques and sample seafood and lobster. If you wish to stay a while, there are several bed and breakfasts in the village and lots of other things to do and see nearby. If you cannot visit my studio in person, rest

Tuesday, August 02, 2005 This is a sweet little hand appliqued quilt top approximately 42 by 56 inches which was made sometime in the thirties, judging by the fabrics used. I can complete this one-of-a-kind quilt top using 100% cotton batting and a backing suitable to the period and it will look darling on a baby or toddler's bed. It is clean and crisp, and the fabrics are strong and unfaded. In case you want to hang it, it will have a 4inch wide hanging sleeve.
