Welcome to the website of Hall's Harbour Handcrafts, located close to the ruggedly beautiful Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, on Canada's East coast. My quilt studio is in my 1820's heritage home, surrounded by trees and wild gardens. Enjoy the peace and serenity which inspires my work. Visit the nearby fishing village of Hall's Harbour where you can observe the action of the world's highest tides. Visit artists' studios, hunt for antiques and sample seafood and lobster. If you wish to stay a while, there are several bed and breakfasts in the village and lots of other things to do and see nearby. If you cannot visit my studio in person, rest
assured that my custom quilts are made in the traditional way - entirely
by hand every step of the way. They are made of the finest available
100% cotton materials in a smoke-free home, and are truly one-of-a-kind.

Wednesday, August 24, 2005 Something New ![]() I've recently been making some needlecases, xmas tree ornaments and bookmarks as a change of pace from quilting - great when I want to sit back and put my feet up at the end of the day. Of course, I haven't been able to stop at just a few and it struck me that all you Quilt Guild members and Red Hat Ladies might like some of these one of a kind, carefully handcrafted miniature treasures to use as "Secret Sister" gifts or small door prizes. I can ship one or several to you in a small envelope via airmail, and prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars - I take Paypal based on credit card or preferably bank account funding and also accept personal cheques in US dollars, no money orders please as they are sometimes hard to cash here. 1) Counted cross stitch Antique Floral Vine bookmarks and assorted Christmas Ornaments are $11.00, shipping included. 2) Needlecases in assorted patterns - specify wool felt applique or cross stitched Miniature Quilt or scenery - are $13.00, shipping included. These items are available in limited quantities and are painstakingly stitched in gorgeous colours. Satifaction guaranteed. Will post some new quilt pictures soon - hopefully of my award winning quilt, which has now gone to a new home in Ontario.9:30 PM
